Christmas originated in ancient Rome, and December 25 was the birth day of Jesus. On this day, the Roman government ordered that all people must declare their household registration in Bethlehem. Joseph and Mary had to obey. When they arrived in Bethlehem, it was already dark, but the two were unable to find a hotel to stay, and only one stable was available. It was then that Jesus was born. So Mary gave birth to Jesus only on the manger. Later generations will commemorate the birth of Jesus, so December 25th will be Christmas, and the Mass will be celebrated every year to commemorate the birth of Jesus.
